Flip Driver guide: land jumps, recover from stalls and manage fuel
Use gas and brake to land wheels first, reverse away from obstacles and choose a garage upgrade based on the end of your last run.

Learn what the two buttons do in the air
Gas and brake do more than accelerate and slow the car. In the air, gas raises the nose and brake lowers it. Start with small inputs on a familiar jump so you can see the response before attempting extra rotations.
Your next landing matters more than continuing to rotate. Look at the slope beneath the car and aim to meet it with the wheels. A long flight can still end in a head-first crash. If the car begins inverted, use the available air controls to recover the wheel orientation rather than holding the same input throughout the jump.
Back away when the car is blocked
At low speed, holding brake can reverse the vehicle. If you are pressing against an obstacle without making progress, release gas, hold brake to make room and then approach again. This is an existing driving control, not a special recovery item.
Watch whether the car actually moves away from the obstacle. Simply seeing a stalled-distance number while holding gas is not an improvement. A new approach gives you a chance to change the angle or speed at the contact point.
Treat fuel as its own limit
The result distinguishes fuel exhaustion from crashes and terrain failures. When fuel is the reason, look at the fuel cans on your route and whether you are spending throttle without gaining useful distance. A larger tank and a cleaner route address different parts of that situation.
Snow and later terrain introduce different hazards and grip needs. The current map shows stage unlocks. Learn a route before assuming that a risky jump or maximum throttle is necessary to finish it.
Choose one useful garage change
The garage describes Engine as more pull, Tires as snow grip, Suspension as softer landings, Tank as more fuel and Air control as improved control in flight. Use the last run to select which limitation to test.
For example, if a run ends head first despite having fuel, a tank purchase does not answer the immediate landing problem. Practise the gas/brake correction, then compare whether an air-control or suspension change helps. Distance, flips, stage clears and challenge targets should be judged against their own on-screen requirements.
