Player help
Find the next thing to check when a game will not load, a control is unclear, or your saved progress looks different.
Start a game
Choose a title from the game library, read its current playable scope, then follow Play to open the game. Our browser entries do not require a game installer. JavaScript is needed for gameplay, and some games also need WebGL graphics support. The catalog, game information and guides can be read before starting.
Several games work with both touch and desktop input. A title with a detailed workbench or timeline may be easier to use in landscape or on a larger screen. Read that game's controls and screen-format note rather than assuming every title uses the same gestures.
A page is blank, stuck or slow to load
- Check that the address belongs to the game you chose. Open its Play link from the library if you are using an old bookmark or an embedded browser.
- Keep the page open while its assets load and check your connection. If it stays stuck, note any error or the last visible loading message.
- Try reopening the game in an up-to-date browser. You can compare another browser to help identify a device-specific problem, but its local save will be separate.
- If the failure repeats, send the game URL, device, browser and loading message to player support.
A failed load does not by itself mean a local save is corrupt. Clearing site data can remove progress, so collect the error and ask for help before using that as a troubleshooting step.
Touch, keyboard and screen orientation
Start with the Controls section on the game's information page. Swarmwave supports dragging, WASD and arrow keys; Flip Driver uses gas and brake; Tidy Tenant separates dragging over dirt from tapping loose clutter. A gesture learned in one game may perform a different action in another.
On a desktop, click inside the game before trying its keyboard controls. On a phone, use the recommended orientation and check whether a drawer or panel can scroll. Pinball Works, for example, uses dragging to pan and tapping to place a part. A moving camera can be the intended response rather than a failed placement.
If controls overlap or text is cut off, include your screen orientation and a screenshot in the report. You can describe a control that is difficult to use through the same support channel.
The game has no sound
First tap the game's Start or Play control, then check its own music and sound-effect settings. Browsers can restrict audio before a user interacts with a page. Also check the tab's mute state and your device volume.
If sound stops after switching away, return to the game and use its visible resume or play control. Report whether the problem affects music, effects or both, and whether it began before or after the first interaction. Browser audio and autoplay behaviour explains why the first interaction can matter.
Saved progress and another device
Many games store progress or settings in the browser for that game's address. Opening another browser, profile, device or game domain can therefore show a different local save. A game hosted on a separate portal may also have a different save context.
Private-browsing storage is temporary, and clearing a game's site data can erase local progress. Read the game's account or cloud-save instructions before changing devices; Harbor Escape has optional account features described on its own site. Do not assume every game supports cloud sync or that an email report alone can restore an erased local save.
For the browser's storage behaviour, see MDN's local-storage reference. Our privacy notice explains the difference between browser data and records sent to a game server.
A preview succeeded, but the task is not complete
Some planning games deliberately separate a preview from an actual result. CliffReturn needs an executed return to camp; StrataContract needs ore delivered to the shaft; OpticsBench scores a photograph taken with the shutter, rather than a new live preview.
Read the condition named by the result screen and choose the guide for that game. A limited prototype's last available case or commission may also be the end of the current release. Its game page states the playable scope.
Report a problem or guide correction
Email support@autorun.fun with the game or guide URL, the action you tried, what happened and what you expected. For a gameplay issue, add the mode and level or commission. For a loading or layout issue, add the browser, device and orientation.
A screenshot can help, but remove private details first. Do not send passwords, login tokens, recovery codes or full browser-storage exports. The contact page lists useful report details, and content standards explains how to identify a rule that no longer matches a guide.
